This is the 3rd time I've used Veterans United. They are fast, professional and go out of their way to assist you during your home buying process. During the process, my mother-in-law passed away. The San Antonio office sent flowers and a card to my wife, offering their condolences. Joseph, my loan officer also made himself available over weekends when I had questions. During the process, he was on vacation, Miguel was able to step in seamlessly to assist with an issue with the closing costs that the title company was trying to make me pay, and got the issue resolved. Hands down, the best place for veterans to get through the home buying process.

Ryan and his team was wonderful doing the whole process answering a lot of of My Wife and my questions of things we did not understand at the time. They was very fast on getting all the paperwork done in a timely matter.
The entire team was outstanding for the start of the process to the end. It made my home search process so much easier, which was very important since I was moving to another state.
Horrible communication. Problems never got solved and everyone ignored me. Got hung up on a call. We are 100% disabled veteran and got tax exemption because we are in Texas. We submitted documents about tax exemption and the one on call said they will contact us if they do not receive document but they never contacted us. And now our mortgage increased from $2700 to $3700 because of escrow from property tax? We called again and they hung up on me. My husband called and they said they never received anything document? We did not receive any proper explanation or solutions. Both of us just received an answer from Veteran United that it was our fault that we did not submit documents (but we did!)

She was very helpful and responsive whenever we needed assistance.If there is one small area that could improve, it would be response times to emails at certain moments during the process. That said, everything that was promised was delivered, and the team handled our loan very professionally.Overall, we had a great experience and truly appreciate Trip’s knowledge, professionalism, and dedication.
