Rebecca Fowler made the experience absolutely amazing. She reached out to me at the very beginning and made sure I was comfortable from the start. She was respectful and seemed to truly honestly care about my well being. She was always available, prompt and I could feel her smile through the phone conversations and text. From beginning to end , never wavered. I will remember her as much as buying my property.
I used VU on three separate buys. The first experience was flawless. Ryan Cannon is incredible. He made me want to use VU a second time. That was literally the worst experience I've ever had anywhere. The woman who headed everything up was a (insert explative here)! I thought that this experience was a fluke, so against my better judgement, I used VU a third time. I can't say that the people on the customer facing side was terrible. HOWEVER, VU had in their possession ALL paperwork regarding the home I was buying for almost a month. One week before closing, they throw a water test/inspection on the well water. One week, when they had ALL the info on the house. Thus, delaying signing by over a week. The expertise on your underwriters team is lacking and unprofessional. This never should've happened.

Veterans United held my hand every step of the way, which is exactly what I wanted as a person who has never bought a home before. Any time something was needed from me, it popped up on my dashboard and I got an email about it. The app and website are extremely user friendly, and someone was always available to help me if I needed it.
My team at Veterans United were phenomenal. I primarily worked with Nicole and Daniel from my home buying team but communicated with all members. I was always kept informed to the process and all my questions were answered thoroughly. They made my home buying experience fast, simple and personalized.

Highly dissatisfied with Veterans United Home Loans for passing my loan off to a foreign partner during my refinance. I went from talking to people I felt like I recognized and understood to a severe language gap with a financial provider who can’t even pretend they care who they’re financing. Up until this point, I would’ve highly recommended Veterans United Home Loans. now I will let people know to stay as far away as possible. This is not the service or the people that veterans want to be dealing with.
It started out great but just got more and more stressful and felt more difficult to get answers/communication. Things ended up getting confused and we struggled to find who to speak with and what next steps were. At the end, things felt rushed and chaotic. It felt as though we were constantly having to validate ourselves throughout the process and a lot of tedious work that we have never had to prove before...this was our third time buying a home and the process seemed much more convoluted than before.
Nick was an amazing Loan Officer! We couldn’t ask for better! We were referred to veterans United by our daughter and veterans United was exactly the great company my daughter said it was! Nick took care of us from start to finish! And we were not the easiest to deal with. lol
Matt and the entire VU staff assisted with every step. Whether the communication was text, call, or through the app, the process could not have gone any smoother.

I going to say the process takes a bit but they have been very nice.
Paul is the man. He’s outstanding. The to do list is also great. It really kept me on track as a first time home buyer. Give Paul a raise and I didn’t forget a Melissa. She’s great as well. I appreciate the amazing service
